The Present Moment

Being in the present moment and giving presence to yourself as well as those around you can be seen as the most impactful gifts you can give. The present now moment is the only moment that we truly have and that truly exists. It is where we create our life with our focused attention and emotions. We so often get bombarded and distracted with all the “to do’s” in life that we aren’t controlling our emotional state or frequency in every now moment. That is what paves the way for our future events. We know that emotions and thoughts create reality so it is very important to remain emotionally balanced, centered and present. There are many ways you can help train yourself to do this.

The following are few of my favorites:

  • Saying a mantra to bring your focus to the now moment. (A phrase or saying that reminds you of where you would like to be emotionally)
  • Breathwork 
  • Meditation 
  • A piece of jewelry you touch to remind yourself to come back to the now moment.
  • Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily routine to do something creative to shift you’re energy. (Dancing, art, writing, listening to music etc.)
