We all have memories about a furry companion. I personally never thought I could get this attached to a cat, but this little fellow found her way to me about two years ago in July 2016. As you noticed I refer to my cat with a “she” not an “it” because she is my best friend, she is my family, my spouse and I consider her like our first child and part of our family not just a pet.
I remember how small she was, I was walking in the street and she kept following me for a while, when I looked back I saw this little ball of fur struggling to keep up with my footsteps, the minute I looked into her eyes I felt something I couldn’t explain, I held her in my arms and took her home with me. You won’t imagine what happened haha, she was jumping all over the place and making me laugh when I was actually feeling down due to many problems in my life. It’s like she brought me back to life. Day by day, me and my little fellow grew closer and closer; we watch movies together, we play together,
we fight together she really brought joy to my life. When I get sick and have fever she would go to her water and come back to me and lick me and stay by my side till I feel better, it was her way to take care of me and it really touched me especially that I was having some issues with my mother and sister and we weren’t speaking for a while. But my cat was my family at that time. And when I met the right person that fell in love with her charm too we all became like a happy family, now even my mom and sister love her and they come to see her.
Few weeks ago, a vet made a mistake and gave my cat some meds that hurt her kidneys and liver, I did everything I could to save her life, my spouse and I cried for days while we tried to look after her. If it wasn’t for Jayson and Diana who helped me greatly perhaps my cat would have gotten worst. Thanks to Diana she is eating again and she is much better, with a healthy diet and the right care I believe we still have years together.
Thanks to my cat I realized that working with such amazing people made me gain a new family too, See!!! My cat has been helping me even in her sickness. I really believe family isn’t just the people with whom we are bounded by blood; it’s the people that have been there for us, our friends, our pets. So let’s all share pictures and thoughts of our beloved ones,
I can’t wait to see your comments.
