Yes, believe it or not there is a recipe you can use to program the perfect day for yourself. And why stop there, with just one amazing day when you can make everyday an adventure filled with beautiful surprises. I would like to share a recipe I have created for myself and I always enjoy living the adventure of my day knowing that something wonderful and unexpected is just around the corner.
Step 1: Before you close your eyes to go to sleep at night. In your minds eye review the day that you has just completed. While scanning pick out all the things that happened that you are grateful for or and or are excited about, then relive the feelings of gratitude and excitement. All the other things that happened that you feel natural about or even upset no need to relive those just watch them like a movie and let them go.
Step 2: Upon waking up think of all the things you are grateful for.These can be personal and impersonal. For example I am grateful the sun is out today. Or I am grateful I my body is healthy. Then bring to your mind all the thing you are looking forward to that day. The things you know are coming and the things you don’t. For example try this statement I am so excited I will ________ today (fill in the blank) and for all the unexpected gifts awaiting me.
Step 3: Be productive, when we get things done there is always a sense of relief that is there to greet you on the other end. And STOP and smell the roses. Take moments to slow down, listen to your breath, take a few deep slow breaths. Through out the day notice that there are so many new things to be grateful for and acknowledge you are truly blessed to be alive!
