Our Psychic Contact chat rooms are divided up into four group sectors:

These rooms are the ones listed in the left column on our home page- they are
free & accessible at any time and no password is needed to enter any of
them.
Its the best way to meet our Readers and request, or set up Free Readings with
them (one per person -please!)
Please make sure you check the room you enter
to see if the Reader is really in there- it'll be obvious by their status bar showing the color "Green"-
if its showing "Red" or Black with "xxxx"- THAT MEANS THEY ARE NOT IN THE ROOM WITH YOU!- ANYONE YOU ARE CHATTING WITH COULD PRETEND
TO BE THE READER-
SO REMEMBER: WITHOUT STATUS SHOWING "GREEN": It ain't the Real Reader! So watch for Reader Status as soon
as you enter the rooms! (You can also check Reader online status by viewing their Bios)

NOTE: We offer only one Free Reading per visitor-
we will require certain information from each person applying for a Free Reading
+ You must agree to having your Reading viewed live by other visitors to the

If you feel that your Reading may touch on situations or people that you wish
to keep private- then we suggest ordering a private one on one Live Phone, Chat
or Email Reading from our Readers at our ".com" site

3) The totally
free Forum Rooms: Join
any one of the many chat rooms open to all visitors!
Just click one the many rooms listed on our home page
in the middle column and you can "pop" into any of the Free Access
Chats going on. You will be brought to the Chat
Room Lobby Entrance and from there you can select
the room that interests you the most. You can also watch a chat before entering, or search
for your friends by clicking "who is where". Stay in these rooms as
long as you like! Create a personal profile so others will know who you are
(optional).
YOU CAN EVEN CREATE YOUR OWN TEMPORARY PRIVATE
ROOMS!!!!
We also Invite you to become Admins. of your own Forum Rooms too!
4) Special Chat Events: Once or twice a month we hold special chat events centered around
the world of Psychic Phenomenon and Spiritual Growth.
You must register for these events in order to
gain access to the chat room(s) they are held in. Its
TOTALLY FREE! & YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN THESE EVENTS OR JUST WATCH ONE FROM
JUST OUTSIDE THE ROOM!!!!!
NOTE: we limit the amount of visitors to each event in order to keep the flow
of chat to a minimum and allow for a more pleasant event- with less chance of
room freezing.
SOME TECH RELATED ITEMS:
Right now our chat rooms are on a T-1 connection and are set to a 5 second refresh
rate- So the rooms may appear at times to work slow (posting messages) We realize
there are other chat systems that are much faster but we opted for this system
in order to bring you many choices of rooms and features. Once we have the rooms
on a T-3 connection- the rooms will go much faster when chatting. We appreciate
your understanding in this matter.
Brief Instructions for Chatting in our rooms
Once you have entered your "user\chat-name", email address and password (where required) you need to select how you want to view the chat room by selecting a "View Mode":
There are 3 versions: "Lite" "Standard" and "Frames"
After you make the selection- you will be
brought to the Main Lobby of the Group Sector you chose. From there, use the
drop down menu to select the chat room you want to enter. (If you are trying
to get a FREE PSYCHIC READING you will to "register" first, BEFORE entering
the Reader's Private Free Reading Room)
ABOUT THE VIEW MODE:
We suggest using the "Frames" mode, since this will mean the room
refreshes itself for you and the latest conversation will appear at the bottom
of your screen. You may need to adjust the room dividers slightly- by scrolling
or by placing your mouse cursor on the grey divider in the approximate middle
of the chat and with the left mouse click depressed- pull the divider up or
down as need be until you see the "greeting" and posted text at the
bottom of your browser screen. The "post" button and other functions
will appear more toward the top of your screen (almost dead center). The "Room
You are in" section may get hidden at this point- but you don't need that
to chat- only to check which room you are in. Note- in the top right corner
are more controls: Where you can switch rooms and CREATE YOUR OWN TEMPORARY
PRIVATE ROOM!. This is also where you hit "Leave" to leave the chat
or switch rooms.
To chat with someone 1 to 1 (no one else can see your conversation) select the person from the drop down menu and once their "name" appears in the window- you can post private messages back and forth. If you want to have them meet you in a private room "make up a room name" and "1 to 1" a message to the person(s) you want to have you meet you in the new room- just tell them the name you created. NO ONE CAN ENTER YOUR PRIVATE ROOM (UNLESS THEY KNOW IT'S NAME!) NOR CAN THEY EVEN VIEW YOUR CONVERSATION FROM THE LOBBY.
"Standard Mode": Similar to the Frames Mode but you will continually have to hit your browser's refresh button in order to see the latest chat.
"Lite Mode": Hardly any features- not recommended.
